Website Watch

Know the Moment Your Website Goes Down

We check your site every 15 minutes, email you the minute it stops answering, warn you before your domain or security certificate runs out, and send you a report card every month.

What you get

Four Things That Quietly Cost Small Businesses Customers

Uptime every 15 minutes

Around the clock. Two missed checks in a row and we call it down, so a single hiccup never wakes you up.

Down and back-up alerts

An email the minute your site stops answering, in plain words about why, and another when it is back with how long it was out.

Renewal warnings

Your domain name and security certificate, warned 30, 14 and 7 days before they expire. A lapsed domain takes your email down with it.

A monthly report card

Your grade and how it moved, the month's uptime and outages, and the three things most worth fixing next.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as down?
No answer within 15 seconds, a server error, or the home page being gone, on two checks in a row. A site that answers but turns us away, which is how some firewalls behave, counts as up.
Does it change anything on my website?
No. Each check loads your home page the way a visitor's browser would and closes the connection. Nothing is installed, and we never log in or submit anything.
Where do the renewal dates come from?
The domain date comes from your registrar's public registration record. The certificate date comes from the public certificate logs that every certificate authority publishes to. Both are checked once a day.
How do I cancel?
In PayPal, under your automatic payments, or from the Billing page in your customer portal. Watching continues until the end of the period you paid for.
Can you watch more than one site?
Yes. Each site is its own subscription, so subscribe once per site. If you have several, get in touch and we will set them up together.
