Scope of Regular Services Provided
Hourly, weekly and monthly support plans are for improvement, support and administration of existing IT infrastructure - not intended for engineering work related to design or delivery of any novel equipment or piece of software.
Custom design/build work is moved to engineering project scope
No support-hour conversion into engineering deliverables
Major redesign work requires separate statement of work (SOW) approval
Cleveland area on-site or remote service, transparent scope boundaries, and a free 15-minute Zoom intro call before paid technical consultation.
Projects up to $5,000 use 50% kickoff and 50% delivery billing. Larger projects use milestone billing (40% kickoff, 30% midpoint, 30% delivery).
Payment Terms
Weekly invoices are net 7 days. Monthly support invoices are net 15 days. Project milestone invoices are due on issue.
Late Payments
Friendly reminder at 5 days overdue. Balances beyond the due date accrue a 1.5% monthly finance charge (18% APR). Service suspended on accounts 14+ days past due without prior arrangement.
Monthly Hard Cap Rule
Monthly support includes up to 24 billable hours with availability capped at 28 billable hours. Hours 25-28 require written approval and are billed at the standard overage rate of $100/hour.
Scope Change Process
New requirements are handled through a written change order showing added scope, estimated effort, and updated price before work begins.
Support vs Engineering
Support plans cover maintenance/admin operations. Engineering design, custom build/test, and formal deliverables require a separate project SOW.
