The part broke and nobody makes it anymore. We measure what is left, model it in CAD, test the fit and 3D print a replacement.

Parts We Recreate

Small plastic parts are what usually break first, and they are often what a manufacturer stops stocking first. For machines, appliances, vehicles, furniture and shop equipment.

Knobs, handles and dials

Control knobs, pulls and levers, matched to the original shaft or mount.

Clips, latches and covers

Trim clips, battery doors, hinge pieces, caps and covers.

Brackets, mounts and spacers

Mounting brackets, standoffs, shims and adapter plates.

Housings and enclosures

Replacement cases and enclosures for electronics and controls.

Gaskets, bumpers and grips

Flexible parts printed in TPU that bend without snapping.

Jigs and fixtures

Shop jigs, holders and guides made to fit your own tools.

How We Rebuild a Part

Every replacement is measured, modeled and test-fit before the final print. You keep the files.

  1. Measure

Send photos first. We measure the original, its pieces or the part it fits into with calipers.

  2. Model

We rebuild it in CAD and make a dimensioned drawing, fixing the weak spot that broke if we can.

  3. Fit-test

We print a test piece and check it against the original or the mating part, then adjust.

  4. Print

The final part is printed in the material that suits where it lives. You get the STL and STEP files.

The Right Material for Where It Lives

Tell us where the part goes and what it has to survive. The material usually picks itself.

  • PLARigid and easy to print. Good for indoor parts that never see heat; it softens in a hot car or a sunny window.
  • PETGTougher, slightly flexible, with better heat and moisture resistance. Our usual choice for working brackets and covers.
  • TPURubbery and flexible, for gaskets, bumpers, feet and grips.

Replacement Part Pricing

Starting prices from our services catalog. Material is always quoted separately, and you see the full quote before any work starts.

Functional Part / Replacement

From $400 + material

Recreate a broken or discontinued part: measured, modeled and test-fit.

Custom CAD Design

From $200 + material

Brackets, enclosures and mounts designed from your specs.

Print-Ready File

From $40 + material

You supply the STL; we print and finish it.

Need 5 to 25 of the same part? Short runs are quoted on request.

What to Send Us

The more of this you have, the faster the quote.

If printing is the wrong answer, we will say so. Parts that carry real load, sit near engine heat or hold pressure may need a different material or a machined part. You hear that before you pay for anything.

Replacement Part Questions

How much does a replacement part cost?
Recreating a broken or discontinued part starts at $400 plus material. That covers measuring, modeling and test-fitting. If you already have a 3D file, printing starts at $40 plus material. Extra copies of a part we have already modeled cost only the printing and material.
Can you make a part from photos?
Often, for simple parts, if the photos include a ruler or calipers. For anything that has to fit precisely, we measure the original or the part it mates with.
The part broke into pieces. Can you still copy it?
Usually. Keep every piece, even the small ones. We measure what is left, fill in the missing geometry from the parts it connects to, and confirm the fit with a test print.
Do I get the CAD file?
Yes. You get the STL and STEP files, so the part can be printed again later by us or anyone else.
Can you make more than one?
Yes. Once a part is modeled, extra copies are just printing and material. Short runs of 5 to 25 are quoted on request.
Is a 3D printed part strong enough?
For most knobs, clips, covers, brackets and fixtures, yes, in the right material. If a part carries real load, sits near heat or holds pressure, we will tell you before you pay whether printing is the right answer.
